Join us on March 17 and March 18 for Spring Fling weekend! This fun packed weekend starts with our Cardboard Box Race on Saturday and ends with Pond Skimming on Sunday. If you dont want to participate, you can spectate and enjoy live music from 2pm - 5pm and drink specials at the outdoor tiki bar. Cardboard Box Race Saturday, March 17th Live music by the Trouble City All-Stars Engineer a racing machine from just cardboard, duct tape, paint and zip ties. Pilot it down our track in an elimination format until the fastest sled prevails. Prizes awarded for both the race champion and the most creative sled No entry fee. Sled inspection takes place at 9:30AM in the pit area at the bottom of tubing . Racing starts at noon. Race Rules Pond Skimming Sunday, March 18th Live music by Born Cross Eyed Strap on your gear and try to make it accross our pond. If you don't feel like getting wet, just come on out to cheer and enjoy the crazy. Registration starts at 9AM in the first floor of the lodge. All contestants must have a lift ticket. No fee for Pond Skimming. Pond Skimming Starts at noon. All those that successfully clear the pond will have their name thrown in a hat. We will draw one name from the hat and the winner will receive a unlimited 2012/2013 season pass. (from pahappenings.com)
