The Oldest House is located on East Main Street. There is not any admission price, donations are greatly appreciated. It was built in 1781 and is the oldest framed house in four counties. May 30 Simpler Thymes at the Oldest House 10 am to 3 pm. July 18 & 19 Quilt Show Plus 1 pm to 4 pm. October 16 & 17 Fancy Fair 10 am to 4 pm. December 5 & 6 Christmas Tea 1 pm to 4 pm. Tours of the Oldest House will be held each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm, beginning June 19 and ending September 3. During the special events, tours will not be available.
